Health and Happiness

Regular exercise is proven to extend the life span of your dog, Your dog needs to be a dog, the more things your dog sees, smells, hears and tastes the more they will be able to function as a safe happy member of your community. This is especially important for new puppy owners to avoid socialization issues as your puppy grows to be an adult.

For your dogs safety there is no use of any type of choke collars but if your dog is a leash puller we may recommend safe products to help. Dogs will be on leash at all times during walks, the use of a longer leash is permitted in private walks, but please no extendable leashes. We will not accept pets into the group walks who have a history of fighting, biting or attacking other animals or humans for the safety of our clients pets as well as ourselves.

Maw'n Paws can help give your home a more lived-in look by bringing in mail or newspapers, alternating blinds or lights. Just ask.

Socialization

Dogs are pack animals by nature. The earlier your dog is exposed to other dogs the better and easier it will be for you later. The more your dog is exposed to other dogs the easier it gets. Maw'n Paws will try to keep the same dogs together in group walks to maintain positive relationships. Socialization is important to help avoid aggression, reduces stress and promotes mental health.
